The Carilex Centrius 7" Alternating Air Mattress Replacement System combines a 7-inch hybrid mattress with the versatile Centrius Pump, designed for patients at high risk of developing pressure injuries or for managing existing Stage 2 pressure sores (Waterlow Score 15+).

Advanced Therapeutic Support with Centrius Pump

This system features the intelligent Centrius Pump, equipped with Intelligent Pressure Sensing (IPS) Technology, which automatically adjusts internal mattress pressure in response to patient movements, ensuring regulated airflow and continuous envelopment. The pump offers multiple therapy modes: a Dynamic Mode with a 2:1 alternating therapy on a 10-minute cycle, CLP (Constant Low Pressure) Therapy for stable pressure redistribution, and a Max Inflation mode that rapidly hyper-inflates the mattress to provide a firm surface for nursing tasks or patient repositioning.

The Centrius Pump also includes automated Comfort Level Settings (Soft, Medium, Firm) with an auto upright support feature, which adjusts to individual patient comfort and positioning needs. Patient safety and ease of use are enhanced by a Panel Lock feature to prevent accidental setting changes, audible and visual alarms for Low Pressure and Power Failure, and a Memory Recall function that restores previous settings after a power outage. The accompanying mattress is a 7-inch replacement system, constructed with 16 individual 5-inch air cells complemented by a 2-inch integrated foam underlay. It includes a standard 2-way stretch, washable cover that is vapour permeable and water-resistant, promoting patient comfort and hygiene. For emergencies, the mattress is equipped with a Quick Release Coupling for CPR. The system supports a safe working load of 150kg.
