The Medi Genumedi Knee Support is designed for the orthotic fitting of the knee, featuring a patella silicone ring that provides compression and stabilisation. This support helps reduce pressure on the kneecap and is ideal for chronic, post-traumatic, or postoperative irritation, as well as mild instability.

Comfort and Usability

The Medi Genumedi Knee Support is made from high-quality materials, including polyamide, polyester, elastane, and viscose. It features a special inner border for the silicone ring, a non-slip system, and a specially knitted comfort zone in the hollow of the knee for a higher level of comfort. The unique knitting technique ensures no painful constriction and prevents the ends of the bandage from cutting in.

Medical Specifications

This knee support is suitable for use in cases of slight instability of the knee joint, articular effusions and swellings, chronic post-operative and post-traumatic inflammation, osteoarthritis, arthritis, and patellofemoral pain syndrome. It is not recommended for use in cases of skin diseases or injuries in the area of use, sensitivity and perfusion disorders of the legs, or lymph outflow disorders.

The Medi Genumedi Knee Support is available in various sizes, from I to VIII.  The size table provides measurements for the circumference of above the knee (kT) and the circumference below the knee (kB).
