Product Name: Medi Mediven Angio Knee High Stockings

The Medi Mediven Angio Knee High Stockings are specialised medical compression garments, uniquely designed to provide safe and effective therapy for individuals with chronic venous diseases, particularly those with concomitant mild to moderate peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and/or diabetes mellitus.

Advanced Safety and Protection

The mediven angio stockings prioritise safety and comfort for sensitive feet and legs. A key feature is the Merino wool plush padding throughout the entire foot area, from the toes to above the ankle. This padding is designed to reduce pressure peaks and protect bony prominences, which is especially important for individuals with PAD or diabetes to prevent skin lesions. Furthermore, an extra-long and flat toe seam creates an anatomical toe shape, ensuring optimum pressure relief around the toes and their base joints. The design has been clinically tested to ensure stable skin microcirculation and prevent constrictions or pressure marks when used appropriately for the indicated conditions.

Effective Compression and Comfort Technology

These knee-high stockings deliver effective medical compression, available in Compression Classes 1 (CCL 1) and 2 (CCL 2), to support venous return and manage venous conditions. The solid ribbed structure of the stocking material offers high longitudinal elongation, which eases the donning and doffing process. For enhanced wearing comfort, micro-plush is integrated throughout the lower leg. An extra-wide cuff ensures a secure hold without constricting, distributing pressure evenly. Additionally, medi's Clima Comfort technology provides breathability and regulates the skin's microclimate, while Clima Fresh offers an antibacterial effect for lasting freshness.

Therapeutic Applications

Medi Mediven Angio Knee High Stockings are indicated for various stages of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), from C0s to C5 according to CEAP, particularly when patients also present with mild to moderate PAD and/or diabetes mellitus. They are suitable for managing varicosis, for thrombosis prophylaxis in mobile patients, and for conditions such as superficial thrombophlebitis or following phlebitis. They can also be used in the management of deep vein thrombosis and post-thrombotic syndrome, always under medical guidance to ensure suitability based on the individual's arterial status.

Sizing and Variants

The Medi Mediven Angio Knee High Stockings are available in a comprehensive range of standard sizes (I to VII) and also offer petite (shorter length) options to ensure an accurate fit for various leg dimensions. To further accommodate individual needs, two foot lengths are available (small foot up to shoe size 40, and large foot for shoe sizes 40-46). These closed-toe stockings are offered in Caramel and Black, allowing for personal preference while delivering their specialised therapeutic benefits.
