The Bed Heel Elevator is a specialised support cushion, specifically crafted from contoured foam to enhance blood flow and provide effective pressure care under the calf.

Comfortable Support and Pressure Relief

Made from contoured foam, this elevator provides comfortable support for the calf, allowing the patient’s heel to be suspended in the air above the mattress. This design is crucial for pressure relief and care. Patients can comfortably rest their leg on the Bed Heel Elevator while lying on their back or on their side. For patients unable to mobilise their own ankle, a carer should periodically reposition the elevator up and down the calf to facilitate blood flow and ensure an even spread of pressure over the back of the leg. If required, a cotton sheet can be draped over the Bed Heel Elevator to prevent sweating by patients.

Versatile and Secure Design

The Bed Heel Elevator is extremely easy to use and can be adapted for bilateral disorders. For situations where both heels require elevation, two bed heel elevators can be used together. They are securely joined using the hook and loop fastening positioned on the side of the removable, sweat-resistant cover. The device measures 460 mm in length, 200 mm in width, and 100 mm in height.

Hygienic and Safe to Use

The elevator comes with a removable, sweat-resistant cover for practicality and hygiene. The cover can be machine washed at 80 degrees Celsius.
