850 OT's, two days in Brisbane, a Lot of Good Conversations and Connection

OT Exchange 2026 brought more than 850 Occupational Therapists to Brisbane for two days of learning and collaboration. Occupational Therapy Australia hosts the event each year as the profession's largest national gathering.

Country Care Group has partnered with OTA for several years now. OTX remains one of the few chances to sit down with clinicians from every corner of the profession and hear, directly, what's working and what isn't.

A Place to Recharge, Literally

Our Country Care Connections Lounge gave delegates somewhere to stop between sessions. Phones and laptops charged. People sat in our Donatello Plus Recliners and Murray Bridge Chairs, both fitted with heated massage functions, and worked through bowls of fresh popcorn and Country Care cookies. Power banks and drink bottles went home with plenty of attendees too.

The Real Work Happened in Conversation

The lounge wasn't just a rest stop. It became the place where our team introduced OT's to the new OT Hub and the CCG DVA App, and where we listened.

Clinicians told us what's getting harder in their day-to-day work, what resources actually get used, and where the gaps still sit.

More Than a Trade Show

Events like OTX aren't really about the products on the table. They're about sitting across from the people doing this work every day, and hearing what they need. Those conversations are where we learn what actually matters to clinicians and their clients.

Our Queensland team made the lounge what it was. Led by Simon Allford and Aaron Clark, with Chris Jones, Caylen Offer, and Kate Belleville alongside them, they gave every delegate who walked in a genuine welcome. That effort is a big part of why OTX worked for us this year.

Our partnership with Occupational Therapy Australia now heads into its second year. We're building on what we learned at OTX 2026, with more resources, better tools, and ongoing conversations with the clinicians who use them.
