It can be used as a forearm splint to comfortably support and position the hand and arm, or as a heel rail to completely suspend the heel, providing zero-pressure relief to one of the most vulnerable areas. This dual functionality makes it an invaluable and efficient tool for comprehensive patient care and injury prevention.

Adaptive and Protective Materials

The splint is filled with a lightweight polystyrene mixture that perfectly adapts to the unique contours of the patient's arm or leg, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. It is encased in an advanced, bi-elastic cover with a PU-coating. This high-performance fabric is fully waterproof, virus and bacteria-proof, yet remains breathable to foster an optimal micro-climate for maintaining skin health during use.

Designed for Clinical Safety and Use

Engineered for the demands of professional healthcare, the Posimed Forearm Splint / Heel Rail is easy to maintain and built for repeated use. The entire product can be sterilised in an autoclave at 105°C, while the cover is machine washable up to 95°C for superior hygiene. It is also certified flame retardant and food-safe to meet stringent clinical standards.
