By effectively suspending the heel, it serves as a critical tool for both the prevention (prophylaxis) and treatment (therapy) of decubitus ulcers. Its specialised design is particularly suitable for managing and healing diabetic foot ulcers, ensuring the area is kept free from pressure to promote recovery.

Advanced Fabric and Drop Foot Support

Constructed from high-quality foam and a breathable 3D-Mesh fabric, this heel boot ensures excellent comfort and climate control around the foot. A key clinical feature is the soft fastener across the forefoot, which not only provides a secure hold but can also be used for drop foot prophylaxis, helping to maintain the foot in a neutral position and prevent further complications.

Designed for Clinical Hygiene and Safety

Built for use in professional healthcare environments, the Posimed Heel Protect is designed for simple and effective hygiene. It can be easily disinfected with a spray or fully sterilised in an autoclave at up to 105°C. The product meets stringent safety standards, being certified flame retardant according to both DIN EN 597 (I+II) and CRIB 5.
