The Quickie Iris is a premium tilt-in-space manual wheelchair that utilises a unique and patented Intelligent Rotation in Space (IRIS) technology. This system allows the seat frame to rotate around the user's centre of gravity, providing a smooth, controlled, and effortless tilting motion. This technology facilitates superior positioning, which can assist with functions like feeding and respiration, help to reduce pressure, and improve visual alignment. The Iris offers rotation ranges that can be set to achieve up to 60 degrees of posterior rotation for optimal positioning.

Optimised Manoeuvrability and Stability

Designed for practicality in various environments, the IRIS's rotation-in-space technology contributes to the shortest possible wheelbase for a tilt-in-space chair. This compact design enhances manoeuvrability, making it easier for both users and carers to navigate tight spaces without compromising stability. The alignment of the centre of gravity and centre of rotation minimises forward loading of the castors, further enhancing safety and ease of use.

The Quickie Iris offers a broad range of positioning and caregiver options, along with numerous adjustments to ensure a tailored fit and enhance daily life. Features like the single back post allow for independent selection of backrest and chair widths and provide limitless seating and positioning capabilities. A dynamic back option is available to accommodate involuntary movements while maintaining proper positioning. Caregiver options such as a cable-free foot release tilt actuator and attendant hub brakes (on stocked UK models) simplify operation. The wheelchair is highly configurable with various options for hangers, legrests, and footplates.
